When I was hired at Vanguard Rugged Storage I was supposed to be just a soldering technician. However I was a delivery person,
test engineer, assembly tech, environmental testing tech, slepper of this that and the other thing all for $9.20/hr. I just
wanted a job. Now I am not sure I knew what I was getting into. I did not know that Manpower did not want to pay me for
the miles that I was accumulating at Vanguard because I was not paid as a driver. Phill Loudin told Manpower that I was just
to be a soldering tech and not anything else. I remember him saying a lot "well sue me". I know why I heard of
some people that had to sue him to get what they were rightfully entitled to. I also talked to a lawyer about this and he
said that I have a strong case and he will only charge me 42% of the total damages to my back, hernia and loss of wages.
That money should come out of Phill Loudin's pocket and not mine. I just wanted to do an honest and good job. I saw many
things there that I did not say too much about because I was the "new" guy and heck I did not want to loose that
job. I needed the little money that I got. Well there was one thing that I am going to talk about now. I will be sending
letters out to Raytheon, Northup Grumman, Boeing, and some others that I will not mention here about how I was to approve
some jobs for Mil spec Mil-HDBK-454A that I did not think were passable. Hey I wanted my job. I was soldering surface mount
integrated circuits that were specifically noted in the engineering documentation that were to be soldered by a "cooler"
method. That is all of the surface mount integrated circuits that I installed were all compromised. When a very small integrated
circuit is soldered with a regular soldering iron the heat is too much for the small surface area to dissipate quickly enough.
That is because Phill Loudin was too cheap to have the proper equipment to do the job right. Now looking back on what a cheapskate
Phill Loudin was I feel different. I will be attempting to subpoena all the test documentation that has my name on them.
That is the right thing to do. I will not have the national defense system of our country go down because of some integrated
circuits that were compromised because of a cheapskate like Phill Loudin. I was amazed at how he would throw a temper tantrum
and start to throw tools around the shop when the things that he sought were right in front of him. Like a 12 year old.
Then when I found out the he was the one that did not tell Manpower that I was to be doing the job of three people. I do
not have compassion for a cheat of any stature. Like Martha Stewart, she had the money to say forget the stocks, I will take
a loss because that is the right thing to do. I would have been making around 16 to 19 dollars per hour and at that wage
I would have had towing on my vehicle instead of minimum state requirements like I had. And then to boot I was in a hurry
to get back to the job so no one would be mad at me for having a flat tire so I got the hernia and the back injury at the
same time. To add insult to injury I was back to work days after the hernia surgery with more painkillers so I did not feel
my back or the hernia operation healing. All I wanted to do was a good job. I just wanted a job, not to get screwed by a
cheapskate like Phill Loudin. That I would pay for dearly when I did not have pain pills and I could feel all of the damage
of the hernia and the back injury later. I am still recovering from the back injury. Dr Lebovitz did an excellent job with
the hernia! The physical therapy did not do much good if any. I am better off with some old advice from some friends that
have been through this sort of thing. The whole most important thing about all of this is the employer will screw you like
this one did, even if you are a good employee. Things happen all the time like this.
